Valeo introduced its latest virtual electronic control units (vECUs) and sensor models (VESM). Valeo Virtualized Hardware Lab provides a scalable, cloud-based environment for testing autonomous mobility, in-vehicle infotainment, and powertrain functions without the need for physical hardware. Expected availability: Q1 on AWS Marketplace.

This solution promises to:

  • Reduce user development costs in SDV development
  • Accelerate the release of new software features
  • Scale testing efforts efficiently based on individual project requirements

Solution 2: Valeo Cloud Hardware Lab

Valeo and AWS accelerate SDV development with Valeo Cloud Hardware Lab

Valeo Cloud Hardware Lab is the first hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) as-a-service-solution unveiled by Valeo. This end-to-end cloud based platform is designed to support the development and validation of Autonomous Mobility workflows. This innovative tool furthers Valeo and AWS’s mission to accelerate SDV development.

Key benefits include:

  • Remote access to large-scale HIL hardware via an AWS-hosted workspace
  • Streamlined collaboration between global teams
  • Up to 70% more efficient resource allocation
  • Up to 30% boost in engineering productivity

Solution 3: Assist XR

Valeo and AWS accelerate SDV development with Assist XR

Valeo’s Assist XR leverages AWS data and AI services to enhance driving experiences by streamlining emergency support (eCall), roadside assistance (bCall) and vehicle service maintenance (sCall). Real-time vehicle and environmental data analysis power these capabilities, aiming to deliver quicker and more efficient assistance services than ever before.
